If only we could think differently

If only we could think differently

And weave a world, new

Where the grass is not green

And the sky is not blue

The birds do not chirp

But sing symphonies of Beethoven

And all the trees dance

To the tunes they have woven

The sea waves do not crash

But gently wash away the sand

The sun overhead is never harsh

And no one ever gets tanned

If only we could think differently

This world could become beautiful

every moment can become magical

If only we could think differently

If only we could think differently

And see beyond the haze

Where time is not a constant chase

And peace fills all our days

The mountains would not stand so still

But hum with ancient rhyme,

Their peaks would glow with wisdom deep,

Untouched by age or time.

The moon would not just shine so pale,

But paint the night in gold,

Each star a story waiting there,

Of dreams we’ve yet to hold.

The wind would whisper secrets sweet,

Of places far and wide,

And hearts would never break apart,

But gently, side by side.

If only we could think differently,

We'd find the world anew,

A canvas rich with colors bright,

Of everything we knew.

A place where love and kindness bloom,

And laughter fills the air,

Where every soul feels cherished here,

And every heart is fair.

If only we could think differently,

This world could be sublime,

A symphony of hopes and dreams,

If only we took time.
